Situated atop a bluff near the Missouri River, Vermillion is located just west of I-29 and less than an hour’s drive from both Sioux City and Sioux Falls. Nearby attractions include Spirit Mound, Bluff’s Golf Course, and Gavin’s Point Dam in Yankton.
Vermillion is home to the University of South Dakota (Go Yotes!) and over 10,000 of what we consider to be the state’s friendliest and most welcoming people.
